All About Honeymoons

Welcome to All About Honeymoons!

2010 BRIDAL EXPO, January 9 & 10, 2010

Stefanie,

Thanks for taking care of us so well for our honeymoon.  We had a great time and loved the little note you left for us in our room.  Thanks for the Birthday wish as well.  Of all things for our wedding planning, the honeymoon was so simple.  We are really glad to have you help us.  We thought we got a great price for the package deal and we personally had to invest little to no time planning or figuring anything out.  We loved it.

As far as Couples Negril in Jamaica.  March is a wonderful time to go there.  The weather was 70-80s the whole time, lots of sun, and lots of beach to enjoy it on.  I loved having a honeymoon on a resort where there were no families or crazy spring breakers.  We got off the resort a few times and always noticed how much nicer, cleaner, and well kept the Couples Negril resort was compared to the neighboring resorts.  We never felt crowded on the resort nor did we have to worry about walking long distances to dine, drink, or enjoy the spa (about 5 minutes walk maximum anywhere.)  We did not plan the honeymoon day-to-day activities before arriving to Negril.  We just showed up and they gave us everything we needed to be on our way.  Real easy to sign up for activities or make reservations for dining.  I do recommend that individuals make a couple of dining reservations at the lemongrass and feathers as the menus are delicious and each couple may want to try various meals.  The portions of food are smaller everywhere than the US (which we loved because we could try several types of food without being wasteful or stuffing ourselves.)  The food tasted great everywhere and the seafood was delicious.

We took a shuttle about 1.5 hours east to do a canopy tour.  We had a great time doing it; it was with Chukka tours I believe.  The only bad part about going was having to leave the resort and loosing the morning on the beach.  Speaking of which, the prime hours for enjoying the water and the watersports is from 8AM to around 3PM.  After 3 it starts getting cloudy and the waters are too rough for watersports or tour boats.

The sunsets as well as Jamaica in its entirety is picturesque in every way portrayed by ads.

The resort amenities were wonderful and we loved not having to worry about paying for food, drink, entertainment, or watersports.  Ann & I both personally enjoyed ourselves and found it very difficult to get on the plane ride back home.

So... are we allowed to book future vacations with you?

Thanks!

- Ann & Tim
